We are now a month behind on our posts, but it has been pretty busy this past month. The last four weekends we had visitors and now I’m just getting a chance to start to catch up.
About a month ago Patrick (college friend) and Clint came to visit. It was great because 1)we haven’t seen any of our friends in such a long time (not counting the occasional webcam), and 2)adult interaction (yay!).
Patrick and Clint took Amtrak from Seattle (their current hometown) to Mountain View. The day was filled with rest and relaxation ending with a yummy meal made by Clint. I wish I had taken a picture of it. It was a healthy fettuccini dish created by Ellie Krieger (cooking channel personality). Yeah, that’s right. They traveled all that way via train to come and slave away in our kitchen. We were very grateful. They did manage to bring lots of gifts for us, also, one being Googles (tasty cookie treats). Hopefully no one calls the corporate lawyers at Google on this cookie company.
The next day we took a trip up to San Francisco to the de Young Museum.
Oh yeah. She’s walking pretty strong now. She started about a month ago, but with each day is becoming stronger and stronger. She tries to run now…only ending in falling.
Afterwards, we hung out on Castro Street in San Francisco.
No visit is official without a Google tour. This is what we did on Monday. It’s nice to see how much Jason is spoiled and get a little of what he gets everyday. He does work pretty hard for what he gets, though.
Coming soon: Jason’s parents, brother, and Rachel Brown. Stay tuned!
